MICRONEEDLING
Skin needling, also called microneedling therapy, collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive skin-rejuvenation procedure that involves the use of a device that contains fine needles. The needles are used to puncture the skin to create a controlled skin injury. Each puncture creates a channel that triggers the body to fill these microscopic wounds by producing new collagen and elastin. Through the process of neovascularization and neocollagenesis, there is improvement in skin texture and firmness, as well as reduction in scars, pore size, and stretch marks.
The channels that are formed with microneedling during this procedure provide a patent conduit for the application of intensive topical therapy. For example, Vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, tissue growth factors, or Plasma Rich Proteins can be applied directly into the open channels. We take advantage of this direct delivery system and infuse potent ingredients to create optimal absorption with amazing results. Tone, texture, and overall skin quality is enhanced with little to no downtime. A series of 3 treatments are recommended for optimal results.
